Clandestine

Five Sentence Fiction! I remember the first time I heard the word 'clandestine'. I was sitting in Latin class in 6th grade and we were talking about derivatives of some Latin word - maybe clandestinus? - and my Latin teacher was trying to explain to us what it meant... It took a long time for me to understand it too.

Weird memory. But it's a great word!! So, here we go:

(now it sounds really weird because I've had to sound it out so many times to spell it... )

CLANDESTINE:

"Do you really think this is a good idea?"
"No."
"People are going to go insane, Hermosa is going to kill you, I'm going to kill you, the Prime Minister's wife is going to lose her wig... really, darling, this is a terrible, terrible idea."
"As long as you deliver the note and  the rest of us stay under the bridge no one will get hurt... unless someone kills me."
"This is why it is not a good idea!" I hissed, but he only smirked and pointed at the dark horizon.

  5. I can't believe it took me until today to read your latest 5 sentence fiction. It is, of course, wonderful. 'the prime minister's wife is going to lose her wig' I love that phrase! McKenzie, well done!

  6. That is amazing! I know it's five sentence fiction, but you should add to it someday. It sounds like it would make a great story :)
